It took several tries to find "the one." Have been looking for a well crafted acoustic with a sunburst finish under $300.00. Dreadnoughts are wonderful with that gorgeous full sound but they are too large for me to play comfortably. I ordered the Yamaha 720S online sight unseen and was amazed at what arrived. The craftmanship was absolutely flawless. The factory set-up perfect. The only thing that it needed was to be restrung with DR Rare medium strings and a little play-in time-it has a full range of clear tone all the way up the scale and great volume- she is a keeper =)

I would give this one 4.5 stars if I could. I bought this as a strummer for around the house. My other acousitc is a Seagull folk all solid wood. I like small guitars. Don't care for the dreads.

I bought this during the holdays when Amazon had it for around $200 and you can't beat it for that price. It has a solid top and is a really nice looking guitar. Playability is great. It has a plastic bridge and a nut that can be easily replaced. The strings that came with it were bad. They left black marks on my fingers. I replaced them with Pearse PB lights since I had extras laying around. I'll try D'addarios next. The only knock on this guitar is that it is not very loud. My Seagull blows it out in the loudness department, but the Yamaha is a budged guitar so it's not going to be perfect.
