I was looking for a guitar that is cheap and good sounding. Of all the guitars in a price range of Less than $150, this guitar captured my attention and then looked for the reviews. After I searched in the worldwide web,I haven't seen as many reviews about this guitar, Yamaha FD01S. I just decided to buy this since, the fact that it's less than 150 bucks, it also has a SOLID top which I always consider when buying a guitar because I want the genuine acoustic tone. I've been playing guitar since 2005 and for me, I know what a good guitar is from other cheap sounding string instruments. Anyways, I bought my FD01S from J&R Music and Computer world for only 109 bucks which I can say the BEST deal ever.

This guitar was my first guitar and was perfect for me! I took classes in college and my professor told me that this is the best kind of guitar to use for beginners. Not only is it easy to use, but you can keep it for years and still have fun playing it. Very easy to tune and string. Lightweight and easy to carry. Hard, sturdy wood. A great instrument for country or concert music!

I am a guitar beginner, so the first guitar I choose will not be too expensive with a much higher performance. This guitar - YAMAHA FD01S is comparatively cheap to other guitars with the same brand. However, all I need is a high quality and easy using guitar. In this case, this guitar is a wise choice since YAMAHA is a quite famous brand so its products quality should be higher than other guitars. Consumers trust this brand since its products are good throughout the history. So I don't need to read bunches of customer reviews to decide whether to buy it. The only con is that you need to press harder on the strings in order to get wanted sounds. But I think cheap guitars all have this con or they won't be so cheap. Overall, it's worth buying it.
