I didn't buy it at Amazon because I wanted to sample a number of guitars before deciding. I wanted to purchase it from a local music store that provided the samples. It turns out that they charged the same price but didn't include the case. The guitar feels good in the hands - it's body is narrow and lightweight. The chamber provides good sound projection. The audio quality is excellent. I usually play near the piano and this guitar's body resonates with the piano sounds - as if it wants to be played! The electric pickup works very well. I use it with a large Peavy amp and it fills up a 200 person venue very well in accompaniment with the drums, piano, trumpet, and singers. The finish was immaculate! I myself play a taylor T5 custom and a Taylor 414ce and have played for over 30 yrs. so I feel I have a good idea how a guitar should play and sound. I am impressed with this guitars sound, action, and electronics. The thinline body is great for her smaller physique. I could easily reccomend it over a 3/4 scale student guitar. Most kids will outgrow 3/4 guitars quite quickly and most of those guitars are crap. Spend a few more $$ and at least if jr. doesn't stick with it you have a guitar you can sell and recoup some of the$$$. Start out with this guitar and it's ease of playability migh keep jr. or princess interested longer than week. Nothing kills a kids desire to play guitar than a crappy built cheap guitar with strings 1/2 inch off of the fret board. It's also a great adult intermediate guitar. Basically if you begin with this guitar you won't want to upgrade anytime soon if ever.

Its not bulky or too big.. perfect size The sound is excellent. This was my first guitar and it was very fun learning on. I have 3 other guitars and still rather play this one! I recommend it most definately |
