Wechter continues to maximize bang for the buck with the affordable 5730e Pathmaker Acoustic-electric guitar. The solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides provide the perfect blend of warmth and presence, and the 25.5" scale length makes the 5730e very playable. The final setup on the 5730e is done in the Wechter shop with a Plek Pro. Wechter installs brand new premium quality coated strings, adjusts the action, adjusts the nut, trussrod, saddle, file frets if necessary, cleans the fingerboard and bridge, polishes and repacks - every guitar, every time, so that they know you are getting a guitar that will play the best right out of the box. Included with this model is an advanced pickup system that blends the signals from a condenser microphone, a soundhole magnetic pickup, and an under-saddle piezo pickup. It features a 3-band equalizer - Bass, Middle, Treble - with a Magnetic / Piezo pickup blender, Microphone controllers (Sharpness and Level), a low battery indicating LED, a Phantom power LED, a phase reversing switch for feedback control, and a Master volume. It is powered by either a 9V battery or by 48V phantom power. High gloss top, satin back, sides and neck.
