Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar
Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar (Natural) From the couch to the campfire to the concert hall, the GS Mini promises big fun for everyone. Inspired by the big, bold sound of Taylor's award-winning GS body shape, the GS Mini scales things down without skimping on sound, packing a lot of tone into a comfortable, portable size and giving you a guitar that's incredibly fun to play. With Taylor's patented straight and stable NT neck, you'll always enjoy signature Taylor intonation and playability. So, wherever you end up, whether you're on tour or on the porch, the GS Mini is always ready to play.
The GS Mini truly sounds like a full-size guitar, and it's not just the volume you'll notice when you strum your 1st chord, but also the depth and richness of tone. The Mini acoustic has a deeper body, a bigger top, and a longer scale than a Baby Taylor. The tone is also enhanced by a full-sized 4"-diameter soundhole and a braceless arched back. The Mini also has the look of a "real" guitar with an inlaid rosette, pickguard, and inlaid purfling lines in the top. Its ultra-portable size makes it a great travel guitar. You can even put it in the overhead compartment of a plane. The Mini also makes an inspiring student guitar for smaller-sized musicians. Comes with a GS Mini hard bag.

Don't let the "Mini" scare you. You will be amazed at the big sound that comes out of this little Taylor. Not tiny at all. I bought this as my travel guitar. But I play at often at home, too. I would also highly recommend this guitar for a child aged 8-18 taking lessons and starting to learn. Its size and price are more manageable than a full sized Taylor for a beginner, but the quality makes it very playable. For a kid or teen starting out, this guitar won't frustrate a beginner like all those cheap guitars will, so the kid is more likely to stick with it. Then if they still don't stick with it, the guitar will have decent resale value. I am an adult intermediate player and I really like this for myself. In addition to full sound and playability, I like the craftsmanship and the mahogany wood. Very nice!
