Hi, I don't do many reviews, but i felt that this guitar deserved one. A few months back, I was looking for something small, that I could kind of just throw around. Something that I could take on the road with me.
I played a lot of guitars. A lot A lot.. Played Baby Taylors, and little Martins. Across the board I would say, don't waste your money on them.
The New Yorker fascinated me. In standard tuning, its fine.. But but drop it down half a step, this baby sings.
If you are any at all on the fence about getting a 3/4 sized guitar, this is the way you should go.
Its a great dependable guitar, that is made to last. If mine broke tomorrow I'd order a new one immediately
Great Little guitar,

Fit and finish were very good. I was amazed at the volume for a small bodied guitar. Individual notes are articulate and strummed chords ring out well. The guitar I received had a very high action when delivered. I bought this for my wife and she could barely play it due to the poor set up. After shaving the saddle and changing to lighter strings, it plays fantastic and she loves it. I find myself grabbing this little guy over my much more expensive Taylor. I'm not saying this $400 guitar compares to the Taylor, but it's a joy to play and makes me want to play old school blues every time I pick it up. It does have a rather small neck which is good for small hands. It takes a few minutes to acclimate if you pick this up after playing a more typical neck profile. All in all, a great little guitar for the money.
