Bought one of these a while ago after reading all the blogs "the good the bad and the ugly" , took a punt and lost !
A myriad of issues such as a very poorly finished fiddle edge, glue all over the place , gaps/chips and bad scratching in the fret board and also "really roughly finished frets" but the biggest downer was the harmonic's! "The E & A strings are out nearly half a step!!!!"...........Yes folks u read it right! Cheap chrome finish is worn off with one good sweat !(no need to buy a stressed model) Even the cheapest of Chinese axe(this guitar is made in P.R.C.)would have better Fretboards! I was nearly considering purchasing a Hwy 61 as well & glad I did'nt. Hey maybe if ur Billy Gibbons or Johnny Winter u might get a straight one ? Sound wise it is reasonably close with some cone cushsioning required after a good thrashing and the size makes for good playability and if I was not on the other side of the world I would of asked for another one on return !
