This lovely guitar is an OM/000 14 fret acoustic. It features a short scale fretboard (24.9' versus 25.4'), sitka spruce top, khaya back and sides (also known as African Mahogany), a rosewood fretboard, beautiful inlays in a Nick Lucas style and a unique headstock also with well done inlay. The neck is what I would describe as a full C style somewhat similar to the neck shape found on slope shouldered gibson acoustics and it features a 1 3/4 inch nut width - perfect for fingerstyle play. In addition, Recording King includes a bone nut and saddle. The most striking feature is the beautiful nitrocellulose sunburst finish. This is a well made instrument.
A few comments about quality control - with this instrument, I note sharp fret ends and that the nut is not even with the fretboard.
