I picked one of these up for $358 at a different site--apparently they are moving production of this model to China and are clearing out the Korean-made models. I purchased this as a second guitar to leave on a stand while my Breedlove OM-M sits protected in a case. The Balladeer has a great neck with quick action and an electric guitar feel to it. It holds tune very well and sounds great through an amp--I can't make it feed back and I've tried. It also feels very solid. I'd have no qualms taking this on the road.
The downsides? Acoustically, it's somewhat dead sounding. There's not a lot of depth to the sound, which I expected from a super shallow bowl, and it doesn't project all that well. It feels to me as if the top is too thick and it can't vibrate enough to generate tones and volume.
I still like the guitar. It still sounds OK and a guitar hanging around on a stand that you play frequently is better than a classic Martin in a case. If the cat...Read more

This guitar is made in Korea. I think it's only fair that the seller made this clear in the specs. I would not have wasted my money ordering from USA a guitar made in Korea.
