I bought three of these guitars so that my sons and I could begin learning and if there was no interest, it was not a big investment. These are nice beginner guitars! Nice sound and decent quality...definitely for the money. Although you wouldn't want to perform with them, they are a good guitar to get your feet wet with. The boys enjoyed it so much that I will be purchasing electric ones for Christmas.

Let me first state I'm a beginner guitar player. I typically play slower R&R songs and Alternative music along with classic songs. I've had this guitar for over a year...and I love it. The sound is hollow on the low strings and bright on the high strings. If you like this combination... you love this guitar. I have a slightly higher cost Washburn Lyon, too but I prefer playing this one. The look of the guitar is subtle also not brightly waxed. and at this cost a great traveling guitar...highly recommended....RK
