This is nice and compact and does the job when I am at the local jam session, but it goes thru batteries quick and sometimes is hard to see based on the view you have of it.

This instrument was used on a Cello. It is only suitable for tuning higher notes but not the low ones. Using it otherwise may prove painstakingly hard even if successful. For any given range its pitch range is too narrow for tuning a really badly tuned instrument. If you have a computer at hand it would be wiser to tune it using In-Tune Multi-Instrument Tuner (http://www.musicmasterworks.com/tuning_software.html). I have had excellent experience with it and it works much better. You can download a demo to test it. Overall, a nice idea but does not deliver. I would shy away from it.

None functioning. Switch is bad.Is on when it shouldn't be. Won't work on the low E guitar strings.Almost no visiblity, and the tuner needle doesn't fluctuate at all.May have got a bad unit. 1st representative told me I shouldn't buy off thier outlet.Had no batteries included.Told me to go buy some for the unit.Still doen't work. A refund was offered by second representative.
