I am a small person with small hands and I needed a small inexpensive guitar that wasn't a "toy". I read the reviews of the mahogany finish model of this guitar and many professionals carry this guitar for travel. I can see why. This easy to play, lightweight guitar packs A LOT of rich true tones. I was happy with the construction and smooth feel of the frets. I switched up the strings which was much needed and can't be happier! I highly recommend this guitar as an inexpensive but serious guitar for children, small people, and anyone who needs a good sounding travel guitar that you don't have to worry about.

Just did a set up on this guitar for a friend who bought it for his kid's Xmas gift.

A string broke the minute she started playing with it. While that's not a big deal, when he brought it to me, I found the bridge pins where incredibly wedged in to the guitar. So much so that when removing (with a bridge pin tool) the top of one just popped off, and I was being pretty gentle, but now i'm replacing them all)

Finally, when I replaced the string and tuned it up, I found it was fretting out at the 3rd fret, looking closely you could see the 4th fret wasn't set correctly and was raised slightly at the b and e strings. It seemed as if it was clipped incorrectly and sat slightly over the neck. Impossible to fix without refretting/clamping and glueing/filing. It wouldn't be much of an issue from the get go if it fret out at a high fret, since most kids don't do virtuoso style playing, but it was at the 3rd fret, which is something that a few basic chords require to play...Read more
