Although it's been awhile, I used to work in the music business, played professionally and taught guitar. I had been out of music for many years but when I retired, decided to pick up a good instrument and spend more time playing. I had originally intended to buy a Martin or Taylor, but since there was a Luna dealer not far from my house, I decided to check them out also. I'm glad I did.
There is really no way to describe the sound quality of a guitar and evaluating it is of course, a subjective process. The best I can say is that it generates a solid, resonant sound which immediately identifies it as a top quality instrument. The AMD100 is IMO, as good or better than most guitars I have seen under $1000 and better than some that cost more. After testing the patience of my dealer by trying practically every guitar in the store, I would also say that this model is superior to other Luna models in this price range, or at least that was my perception.
