This is a great deal! I know some other online stores trying to sell the same guitar, (just the guitar) for $130! You can get this one along with most of the accessories a beginner will need for just $90. There is another deal for $10 more if you want a gig bag instead of a guitar stand, but I chose the package with the guitar stand because I find that having it sitting there in plain view motivates me to pick it up and play more often. This guitar has a warm, beautiful tone; even with the strings that come already on the guitar. One of the main reasons I chose this guitar is because of its low action. You hear a lot about beginner guitars with terribly high action that makes it hard on the fingers and discourages beginners from the start, but that is not the case with this guitar. I was able to practice for over an hour without my fingers feeling sore; I only had minimal irritation before my calluses developed (I've had it for about 3 weeks now.) The product is below par not tested at all. The strings are close and touching all the frets all the way. It does not sound like a guitar. Its a nice looking show piece but plays bad. I finally bought Yamaha API500 for 300. Kindly do not ship unless it is tested.

I bought this Jasmine by Takamine S35 guitar for use as a starter guitar. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. For the price you can't beat the quality workmanship and the sound and feel is very impressive. As with all guitars you have to adjust the neck truss to get the action feel you prefer, it was a very easy adjustment and now it plays great. The only issue I have is that the pick guard is a little flimsy and is peeling away from the top, so I used a hair dryer and heated it and placed a heavy book on it till the adhesive reattached to the top surface. But what do you expect for a guitar in this price range. Worth every penny spent.
