I replaced the nylon strings with a set of 10-46 metal acoustic strings and the sound is much better. Oil the gears a little as the steel to brass will bind a little and make turning the tuners a bit hard if not oiled. You may have to dress the fret ends with some sandpaper a bit. All of the J. Reynolds come with a gig bag and this is not called out; it is cheap, but has a handle and keeps the dust out if you really care about this with this low end guitar. I got the guitar to just keep close by for those (now just exactly how does that song go) moments when I don't want to drag out a nice guitar just to here a couple of chords. I am used to electric guitars so I like the 3/4 size acoustics when I go to an acoustic.
