I bought this guitar for my son to learn on. If you are expecting a high gloss finish on this guitar-forget it! It is a very nice looking guitar, has a good tone and is just the right size for smaller learners. We will be moving up to a better model after my son demonstrates he has the "stick to it' attitude. His guitar teacher thought it was a very nice guitar for the money and would work well for lessons.

I am a teacher ordering instruments for my students to jam with at the end of sessions for an enrichment program I direct. I have an adult size FIRST ACT & it's an excellent instrument for the money...in fact have not been able to find a better one for less than $300!
So I really wanted to try this smaller acoustic by First Act...an extra was that it is a 222 Adam Levine's LUCKY NUMBER! I knew the kids would like that also! Found it for a great price... delivered on time and well packed and in good condition! One string broke as I tuned it -- so bought a replacement and a good full set! Pack comes with a strap & three 222 picks, instruction cards, and Coupon for 12 free issues of Rolling Stone. Strings need to be purchased extra & that's good because I usually upgrade the strings.
My students are going on age 12 so this is a good size guitar to start with...Read more

Nice and cheap guitar if you don't want to spend tons of money, and it is worth what you pay for it. Don't expect an amazing sound, and the strings that come with it wear out pretty quick, (though I play quite a bit) but overall I can't complain.
