I have one and love it. My "in guitar tuner" broke and I bought one of these. I heard the battery can not be replace but that is bunk. I replaced it myself. One screw and it takes a standard pc button battery. Works awesome!
"Brilliant" device- and it works great!,

I've been using my Fender Strobe-E (red) for about 6 months now, and it's a great gadget. It might be a bit hefty for some, but as my Prius only uses a transponder, not an actual key; my keychain, which also holds my Swiss Tech UKTBS Utili-Key 6-in-1 Polished Stainless Steel Key Ring Multi-Tool, Gift Boxand my Sandisk 8GB Cruzer Titanium USB 2.0 Flash Drive (SDCZ7-8192-A11, Retail Package), is not that unwieldy.
Using the Strobe-E to tune a guitar or bass is easy- just shine the strobe light on the low E string, pluck it, and tune until the apparent motion stops. I used it to tune the E string on my bass, then checked it with my Peterson strobe tuner, and it was spot on.

This is a nifty little gadget that serves its purpose well... I've taken it out on more than a few occasions since I got it to tune up a guitar or open a beer. However, its size poses a bit of a problem. Along with all my keys, and another rather bulky remote for my car's security system, this Fender Strobe-E Keychain Tuner puts my key ring over the top. Although I love having the convenience of a tuner/bottle opener on my key chain, I'm not in the business of dungeon mastery and don't take kindly to a 5lb. key chain... So, in short; great product, but not quite practical unless you're a "key minimalist" to begin with.
