I've always wanted to learn guitar and picked this package up because my friend really liked Emedia Guitar Method. This pack is a really good deal because it includes guitar method, a good guitar and other stuff you will need.
The guitar is pretty good for the price. I'm still learning but it is easy to play and sounds good.
The guitar method is very easy to follow along with. It starts with easy to play chords, so you are playing songs right away. On the CD is a tuner, so you can tune your guitar. The program also teaches you how to tune by ear. I've been really into it, so I'm pretty far into the lessons and am starting to learn a Stones song. As I'm getting into harder stuff, they have some great tools to help you learn. You can slow the songs down and take certain parts you are working on and create a loop to practice that part over and over until you get it.
If you are just starting out and don't have a big budget, this is a great deal.

I got this pack as a gold box deal on Amazon for $69.99 so the price was pretty nice for a starter pack. Received it in a big amazon box, then there were 2-3 additional boxes (the item box with the two additional box layers inside) which protected the guitar well. As soon as I opened it I checked the zipper pocket because some people have received this item without the software. I had the software; two discs and a baggie with extra strings, and a pick. The guitar itself was ultra light and looked nice. I started off with the CD that breaks down strings and also directs you to another site where you can download additional software, including a tuner. I tuned the guitar and have since started the lessons. Moving slowly so far because I haven't had the time but, it seems really helpful. For instance, it will show you where you should put your fingers for one note under a written text explanation and on the left of the same screen you can choose a video clip of the same explanation with...Read more

I got this set as a Gold Box offer and it's been very satisfying. The guitar seems to be of decent quality and the included discs have been very helpful. The discs not only include instructional items, but a tuner program that runs on your computer and a few other handy utilities.
The only down side was, when the kit arrived, the discs were damaged from being pushed against the frets of the guitar. However, after a quick note to the company with my serial number, they sent replacement discs which arrived within a few days. Score one for good customer service not being dead.
So, I feel I not only got good value from the product, but the customer service was excellent, as well.
The set includes guitar, instructional discs (CD and DVD), an extra set of strings, pick, shoulder strap and a soft carry case.
