The Dean V: Now in Acoustic
Dean fans are accustomed to the unusual, and this acoustic take on the classic V body shape is no exception. Plug it in or go acoustic--either way it's sure to catch a lot of looks.
Mahogany Body
Mahogany is a great choice for oddball acoustic shapes like this one. It's a dense wood with a thicker tone, providing very pronounced and resonant midrange frequencies. This means you still get a rich, full-range sound despite the fact that the V Coustic is anything but traditional.
The unique triangle-shaped soundhole is framed beneath by a Dean T-wing logo.

The set mahogany neck matches the mahogany body, for a full, thick tone with a somewhat compressed attack.

 Great Guitar for the Price., By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Dean V Thin Body Acoustic-Electric Guitar with V Headstock, Classic Black (Electronics) Im going to be honest. I bought this guitar based on appearance. But it is surprisingly well made and easy to play (for me) I thought the V shape would be difficult to play while sitting but it works. Clearly though, know what you are buying this does not have the same tone as a Martin vintage guitar due to the unusual shape and thin body. I own 4 guitars and I find my self grabbing this one the most, it has a fast wide neck that feels like an electric guitar.. It stays in tune, I recommend it. |
