The Neck alignment was completely warped and almost unplayable. It was gifted for me as a present for Christmas and you could imagine the disappointment hearing the dead notes. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Dean Guitar Starter Pack: Includes Acoustic-Electric Cutaway, DA20 Amplifier, Gig Bag (Electronics) Let me first say the guitar itself if very nice, which is mainly what you are looking to buy. The gig bag is as cheap as it comes and will easily rip pretty quickly and provides little protection for the guitar. The amp is ok, mine seems to buzz and squeak with any guitar I use on it. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Dean Guitar Starter Pack: Includes Acoustic-Electric Cutaway, DA20 Amplifier, Gig Bag (Electronics) Received guitar, was a little apprehensive when I saw the box(all taped up), but the guitar an equipment were intact. Looked better than I had imagined and the sound was that of a much more expensive guitar. Even the amp sounds great. Would highly recommend for any beginners and even experienced players who don't feel like spending alot (recession and all) |
