Chipboard Case for Amigo 1/2 Size Classical Guitar

I got this guitar case for my daughter's guitar, because as you know, one day it is on top of the bed, the next day it is inside the closet then standing next to the door and then it goes back on top of the bed, you know children... anyway, after researching for a few days I bought this case. I'm surprise that the case looks pretty good from the outside but the interior is not padded at all; basically there is a 3/16" of cardboard between your guitar and the outside elements. Well for the price it is still a good case. My daughter's guitar fits loose inside the case, about ¾ of an inch on each side (her guitar is a tad smaller than a ½ guitar) so when I close the case I can feel the guitar moving back and forth. I decided to pad it myself, just some carpet foam, felt and a couple of glue bottles (about $20) and a lot of patience, and the case is padded now. I got this for the my kid's guitar because the local retailer didn't have it. It shipped quickly and well packaged. It fits the guitar perfectly and is more solidly built than I had expected. For the price its great.

I purchased the guitar which fits in this case a bit too early for my toddler. The case is amply housing the unused guitar.
