I've had the BR-60T about a month now. When it arrived, it sounded like what it was, a guitar fresh out of the box, brash and clangy. I was glad to hear that it's a loud little guy. The woods are attractive, with a nice inlay strip in the back, and all the finish work is immaculate. It does not come with a case; however, I had a spare classical-size case (also Martin 00 or the Gibson B series), and with a towel or two, the Blueridge fits pretty well.
The Blueridge arrived unscathed, but I am concerned about Amazon's packing. The BR-60T was double-boxed, but with just a bit of wadded paper in the outer box. If I had bought this a month later, when temperatures were reaching 110 with a THI higher still (Texas in August 2011), there could have been some serious heat damage.
Since I play GDAE tuning, and it came tuned CDAE, I took it to a local shop to have the nut slots widened to accommodate the heavier strings. Now, with almost daily play, the sound has coalesced...Read more
