Product Review

There's never been another guitar like it - and Saga has it first! It's the Bluer in the pegheadidge BR-343 Gospel model with beautiful original designs in white pearl and abalone in the peghead and beautiful "Trinity" inlaid pearl position markers on the rosewood fingerboard. This stunning collector's piece has a vintage sunburst finish on body and neck as well as black binding with multiple black/white purfling accents.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Instrument, Amazing Value, July 27, 2010

I've owned this model for a year and a half. I've played Taylors and Martins that cost three times as much that honestly did not have the tone, responsiveness and playability that this guitar has.
I'm not a "gospel" player by any means, but the inlays on this instrument are truly stunning, particularly for an instrument at this price point.
After playing for 17+ years, this is the acoustic I keep coming back to. All of my others are gathering dust. I play this in all of my shows. It's beautiful. The picture doesn't do justice to the finish and paint scheme.
You will not regret your purchase. I'm actually planning on buying this brand again when it's time to buy a new acoustic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quality Guitar, February 16, 2011

First: I gave it Three Stars because there's allot of higher quality guitars out there. IMO: Each star represents about $200 - $250 of value. This one deserves full-value (+ another 1/2) It's a nice playable guitar. No real complaints. I've had mine for about 4 Yrs now. I play variations of blues, pop, rock, and basic chord arrangements nearly everyday, and very rarely does it require tuning. I bought it on ebay, and the music store did a very nice job on the setup. It's tone is clean and bright. It's not a Martin or a Gibson but at the price, you can easily settle for this Asian-built flat-top, if not for its collector potential alone (either it's going up, or inflation is!). Pictures don't do it justice. The craftsmanship and appointments are excellent and very beautifully done. If you like the unique style and Christian theme, then you may not find a nicer guitar in 000 "folk" size for the price. Though cheaper than a Martin or Gibson, etc... it's not a "cheap" guitar by any means.
