5.0 out of 5 stars Interstellar, November 23, 2009

Sounds great. Feels solid. I am more comfortable with the parlor size. I used to own a Gibson J-45 and never fell in love with it. A family member has an old gibson parlor and I've always liked the body size. I am not a small person, but anyone should try a parlor size first. To me, the sound isn't greatly affected, it seems to have more punch. This is the first time I haven't played a guitar before I bought, but I did read a lot of reviews and I am very impressed and pleased with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mahogany Parlor - Great Sound, Great Looks, February 15, 2011
This review is from: Blueridge BR-341 Historic Series O-Style Parlor Guitar (Electronics)
A few years ago the only parlors I had played were vintage and budget, and they all failed to impress me. Then a couple years ago I wandered into a local guitar store just after learning about Blueridge guitars, and there was a BR-341 sitting on a stand. It looked good in person - better than the pics I'd seen online, and I found I liked the slotted headstock. I picked it up, not expecting much from such a small guitar, and what a surprise! It sounded good, with more tone than the parlors I'd played, no boxiness and actual bass. Yeah, I've noticed that most users who review just about any parlor says it has more bass or volume than you'd expect - or both. I hadn't found that was usually the case. But the BR-341 sounded really delivered.

I was pretty impressed, and went back to try the guitar again, but they had sold it. Over time, I got the chance to play several, and I liked 'em all. Great gloss finish, but most of all tone that sounded like a real all solid...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Little Guitar, August 10, 2011

Awesome little guitar. I bought one here a while back and Im impressed. Sounds very good. I play finger style and was worried it wouldn't have enough base but it does. The finish was perfect and the slotted headstock looks nice. The tuners are black and small but work well. The sting to string spacing is a couple hairs over 1 1/2 inches at the Nut. Very nice for finger style. It sounds great strummed also. I also own the Recording king ROS-16 as well. I like the RK a little better because of its size mostly. In enjoy the small guitars I always think ill take them traveling but this one is to nice to leave the house too much. The neck is the Vintage V which feels nice. It plays very easy and neck is fast when sliding. I would buy again.
