I purchased my BR240 online and love the sound that it has. I installed a LR Baggs pickup inside the sound hole and plug into the end pin. This guitar has a very nice tone. It's not as fancy as the other Blueridges but it has a good clarity of tone. I've only had one issue with the G string tuning machine. The machine wanted to come apart when tuning.A little Gorrilla super glue cured that problem. It seems that different humidity levels affects the neck and I have to adjust it every so often. As far as playability, I don't think there is a better guitar for the money. I love the aging process they put on the face of the guitar. It looks like I've had it for many years with the yellowish coloring. I think I'll just keep this one.

I bought this guitar for less than $600 on sale and couldn't be happier. No, it's not a Martin or Gibson, but it's nearly as good and nowhere near the price of those. The sound is very good, and quality is also. All my friends who play this guitar are surprised with it. I would advise anyone to get this guitar and pocket the extra money that you'd spend on a Martin or Gibson. I could not find another guitar that sounds this good for near the price.

Had a BR-240 for about 3 years now and I am ashamed to admit it, but when I just strung it up with new strings, It ate my Collings D2H. No word of a lie, & that D2H is fantastic.
