Summary: Granddaughter loves it! 2010-01-28
Comment: I got this as a birthday present for my granddaughhter when she turned 9 and she fell in love with it. The quality is good and it is the perfect size for her (she is large for her age).

Summary: Great if you aren't sure you'll like playing guitar, but... 2009-10-21
Comment: I got this guitar because it was inexpensive and I didn't want to invest a lot of money on a new hobby I wasn't sure I would keep it up, however if you are looking for quality this is NOT the guitar for you. The particular problem I am having is that when I play the second fret on the 2 high strings it actually hits the third fret which is raised too high. overall I like it for learning but when I'm good enough to want to play for other people I will be getting a new guitar. Also, the bag and strap that come with it are super lame and I just threw them away.

Summary: Wow, this sucks. 2009-09-11
Comment: Well I got this because it was my first guitar. I have to tell you straight up that this sucks. First of all the strings were way to crappy. Like made out of plastic, and they were way to hard to tune. If you tune this it comes out of tune in no time. The case rips very easy and the strap breaks easy as well. The pick's are very bad, they are way to big. The extra strings are no better then the ones of there. I have bought another guitar from Guitar Center and it was amazing. Worked perfectly and it was cheap too. If you want my advice, save up and buy a good one from Guitar Center, because this is crap.

Summary: Interesting for the first 3-4 months 2009-08-29
Comment: I ordered this guitar in March.
It came just as described, pretty nice deal. I replaced the strings one month later, as they started to sound weird (and I wanted to experience some brand new strings).
As a beginner, I enjoyed strumming on this guitar. But the sound was not perfect. I realised that only after I tried a different guitar. Even if I was doing my best (and my friend confirmed that for me) the frets were not good.
No way to finger pick on this baby.
So I am giving it a 2 stars. Only because I did enjoy it in the firs 2 months, is not a good reason to consider it a good guitar. After a beginner starts to apply some tricks beside the regular strumming, you realise it is not a guitar you enjoy playing.

Comment: This guitar isn't so bad. for [...], its a great deal. i didn't see any nicks or scratches. no strings broke on me. and its not hard to tune. i got everything mentioned. the pick was black, and the strap was a rainbow color... but at least i got a free strap. you get what you pay for. only thing, is the frets might need to be filed down. because they are not deep enough. ill give it 5 stars for the price and the quality for its price. if you are a professional and want better quality, you should look at a higher priced guitar. but i recommend this guitar for beginners. why buy a 300 dollar guitar for someone who is just starting. buy them this instead. when they get better, upgrade them. nobody gets a flat out 2 seat manual sports car when they are in drivers ed. they get "something cheap". and this is your "something cheap".
