It is comfortable, well balanced, and looks great. Aside from that, and more importantly, it holds a tune nicely, and has a very nice sound. I bought this for my son from somewhere else (for more money) and he really likes it....even though it's a little big for him right now (he'll grow into it, and in the meantime I can play it). If you go into your local guitar store you will see similar guitars for at least twice as much. I think you will be pleased as well! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Alvarez FD60CSB Thin Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Top Figured, Back and Side Quilted, Maple (Electronics) This is a very good low to mid range quality guitar. I have been playing for 37 years now, and this is one of the best 6-string dreadnaughts I have played. The action is excellent, and there is no fret buzz. It is light and comfortable on the strap. The low-end notes are strong but do not overpower the high-end notes. The sound balance is good and the tonation is excellent. The sustain of the strumed chord is nice and long. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
