Product Review

This is a 41" Full Size guitar for the beginner to intermediate user. The Steel String Acoustic Guitar is perhaps the most versatile and common guitar type. The Steel String Acoustic Guitar has a loud, bright ringing tone that clearly projects to the listener. This type of guitar is the backbone of most country and bluegrass bands. It's perfect for backing a singer and its stylistic palette encompasses everything from New Age and Country Blues, to hot Bluegrass flatpicking, jazz fusion and "unplugged" rock. Sound, beauty and price were all blended together when this guitar was created. From the deep, warm tones of the Mahogany back and sides to the loud, bright projection of the Solid Spruce top you'll never want to play anything else after you've put your hands one one of these guitars.

I purchased this guitar as a starter guitar. It is excellent for a beginner player. The sound is okay and the color is nice. I would not recommend it for the experienced player.

I really got what I paid for, and that is a cheaply made instrument.

When the guitar arrived, it had visible deep scratches on the face of the guitar that looks as if someone scraped it with a knife. Upon further inspection, I also noticed that the wood was splintered on the inside with 3 inch pieces of broken wood sticking out. The blue paint was also chipping off of the guitar, giving it a very cheap, unfinished look in some places. The ring around the front hole of the guitar is a cheap hologram sticker with air bubbles in it. The construction of the guitar is also crooked and it is made with cheap plastic.

The guitar also had a white mildew on the front of the wood where the strings are. It is very gross and noticeable. It looks as though it just sat in a warehouse collecting mold.

This was going to be a Christmas present for my boyfriend, but now I am too embarrassed to give him this. I would advise anyone shopping for a guitar to spend the extra...Read more
