We bought this guitar was for our 5 almost 6 y/o daughter. She LOVED IT Christmas morning from Santa as the color was PERFECT and just what she wanted. The guitar is made out of actual wood and does come with a pick and two replacement strings which we put in very soon on the 26th of December. The guitar is truly a toy though, it was not able to be tuned and when attempting to tighten the strings they break quite easily. To our daughter's benefit, her dad & I were the ones who technically broke every string attempting to tighten them up. It currently has only 2 strings left on it and has been passed on to little brother within about 2 weeks and he is 2.5, it is just his size.
If you are looking for a toy guitar without all the batteries and annoying preset music then this is ideal! If you are looking for your young one to actually learn to play, not gonna happen with this one.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. The old adage you get what you pay for is certainly true. The tunning pegs don't hold the strings tight for long and the paint job is very poorly done. But, it's a little guitar that a three year old can bang around with and you're not worried about losing a lot of money on it.

I'm sad to say this guitar was broken when we received it. The strings were loose when we opened it (for Christmas) and when we went to tighten them the whole arm came off. Very disappointed and still waiting to hear back about what to do with it.
