My 2 yr old god daughter about had a heart attack when she saw she got a real guitar for her birthday.worth the money paid for and she is still running around the house playing it.

This was purchased for a 3-year old and was very inexpensive, which is why I won't criticize the product more harshly. If looking for a basic toy, this product may suffice. If looking for a toy musical instrument, look elsewhere. The tuning pins on this little guitar are strictly props, and the strings cannot be tuned. It is very pink, though (lol) and the perfect size for a toddler. Musically, however, it would not inspire an older preschooler (nor please the ears of his/her parents).

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it!! My only complaint would be I wish it would stay a little bit in tune. Just a little bit!! I'd rather hear somewhat in tune notes than just headache inducing chords. But for the price I'm wasn't expecting miracles either.
It was a fun purchase!
